People’s Emergency Briefing – Film
There will be a film and discussion in Bishops Lydeard Village Hall on Thursday 18th June 2026 at 7pm. The 'People’s Emergency Briefing' (PEB) is about the nature and climate crisis as part of a national initiative Don't miss it. See poster for more details.

The PEB includes a screening of a 45-minute film featuring contributors such as Chris Packham, leading scientists, a former general and Jennifer Saunders all being frank about where things are heading and what can be done. This is followed by time for the audience to reflect on what they have seen and connect with others locally to consider how society could respond.
The aim is to help communities come together around a shared understanding of the risks, and to create a welcoming space for people to engage, especially those who have not previously been involved in climate or nature discussions.
