Somerset Sight are looking for volunteers across Somerset to work one-to-one with sight impaired people. Our befriending service volunteers visit regularly to provide companionship and support to people with sight impairment.
Thermly a green energy technology company operating to help rapidly increase the uptake of clean energy technologies for homeowners and they have just launched their new service in Somerset. See details in the attached pdf.
Every year, thousands of older people need hospital care for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection. It affects the lungs and can cause pneumonia. RSV vaccination is the best protection, with over 75's a priority for a free NHS vaccine.
