Notice of vacancy on Bishops Lydeard and Cothelstone Parish Council arising from the resignation of Carl Salter.
Notice is hereby given that a vacancy has occurred in the office of parish councillor for the above parish arising from the resignation of Carl Salter from the Bishops Lydeard Ward.

An election to fill the vacancy will be held if notice in writing of a request for such an election is made by ten Local Government electors for the electoral area of Bishops Lydeard Ward and received by the Returning Officer, Electoral Services, Somerset Council, County Hall, Taunton, TA1 4DY, by not later than Friday 10th July 2026.
If an election is not requested by ten Local Government electors, the vacancy will be filled by the Parish Council as soon as practicable after the expiry of the date referred to above.
